Medical Use:
- Adults 21 & Older: You must be at least 21 years old to qualify for a medical cannabis card.
- Ages 18–20: Individuals in this age group must have a recommendation from a licensed healthcare provider to obtain a medical card.
- Minors Under 18: Minors require a recommendation from both a registered healthcare provider and a designated caregiver. Only a parent or legal guardian can apply for a medical cannabis card on their behalf.
Non-DC Residents:
Non-residents must also have a valid medical cannabis card to legally purchase cannabis in DC and must be at least 21 years old. Temporary medical cards are available with validity periods ranging from 3 to 360 days.
DC also honors medical cannabis cards from select U.S. states through an extended reciprocity program. If your out-of-state card is approved under this program, you can legally purchase medical cannabis from licensed DC dispensaries.
- If you’re a DC resident, you can self-certify in-store with proof of residency, no physician’s visit required, and it’s free. This gives you immediate access to shop as a medical patient.
- If you’re a non-resident, DC offers access through its Non-Resident Medical Cannabis Program and honors valid medical cannabis cards from many other states under its reciprocity program.
- To legally purchase cannabis in DC dispensaries, you must have a valid medical cannabis card (either from DC Non-Resident Medical Cannabis Program or a reciprocity-approved jurisdiction).

Eligible for Return or Replacement
We may accept returns for the following:
· Defective or damaged non-cannabis products, such as accessories (e.g., vaporizers, batteries, rolling papers).
We may offer a replacement or refund for the following within 7 days of purchase:
· Incorrect items dispensed, provided they are unopened.
· Vape cartridges that are defective, as long as they are more than 75% full (when verifiable).
· Other cannabis products may be eligible as a return for refund or exchange only in the case of damaged or contaminated products.
· Underweight District Cannabis flower products will be credited for the missing weight of the purchase price once verified. Any weight issues with third party flower products, customers must reach out to that vendor directly for a potential credit.
· Refunds or replacements for purchases more than 7 days prior must be approved through the original manufacturer.
Return or Replacement Requirements
To process a return or replacement, please ensure:
· Original receipt
· Original packaging
· Valid government-issued ID (matching the name on the receipt)
Important Notes
· Returns are subject to management approval.
· Refunds will be issued in the form of store credit.
· For defective vape cartridges, replacements may be offered instead of refunds, per manufacturer policy.
· We recommend checking all testing, pricing, and other important information prior to purchasing.
